Teens and Young Adults Need Mental Health Support, Connection, and Mindfulness-Based Skills to Help Tolerate Difficulties, Social Isolation, and Improve their Well-Being!

Teens and young adults today are facing greater mental health challenges than ever before. Whether sensory overload from electronic devices, cyberbullying, or academic pressures they are in dire need of education in self-care.

This 8-week research-based course will allow them to develop mindfulness skills to reduce stress and improve mental health. They will become empowered to take control of their well-being, increase self-esteem, and live life with renewed hope and enthusiasm.

●       Learning how to cope with and manage stress.

●       Bringing mindfulness techniques and practices into their lives.

●       Acquiring skills to choose to focus on positive experiences aka 'Taking in the Good' and build beneficial lasting resources.

●       Increase in overall mental and physical health and well-being

●       Insight into the source of strength that comes from within

●       Decrease in negative coping skills and increase in positive coping skills.

Rosy Sharma Sedhain

Rosy Sedhain studied Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher training at the U of Massachusetts and Brown U. She earned an MBA from the U of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Rosy teaches various mindfulness classes and is a certified yoga teacher.
